Welcome to Beroa Home & Support

We are an independent non-commissioned exempt accommodation provider and consulting service.

Our primary objective is to work directly with Local Authorities or with Registered Providers to offer supported accommodation. Our outstanding team work around the clock to house and support vulnerable adults from various walks of life and we are dedicated in providing the best help to all our stakeholders.

To achieve our objectives, we are directed by our internal Governance Framework to ensure effective, innovative and prudent management to deliver long term success.

Young people & Care leavers

Usually escaping from unstable backgrounds. At Beroa our approach in supporting young people and care leavers, is to help individuals make informed choices. We are here to help with questions relating to their wellbeing, to take control and move on and live independently.

Refugees

Beroa offers a safe and supportive environment to those escaping suffering from outside the UK. With increased international tensions, people are seeking help daily and at Beroa we can support individuals with accommodation & support. Our aim is to promote responsibility, so that individuals now living in the UK can positively impact their community, fostering a sense of belonging and enabling successful integration into their new communities.

Move on

Beroa helps develop independent living skills. We are a pioneer when it comes to setting the standard in fundamental life skills. Our teams support people with acquiring the essential life skills whilst at Beroa, required to demonstrate ability and to live independently. We are a strong advocate that person-led support plans enable people, providing opportunity to map out their journey and gives a sense of achievement in meeting their goals. Fundamentally, supporting individuals moving on to permanent accommodation.

Mother & baby

Ensuring the wellbeing and happiness of mother and baby is paramount. Beroa offers safe and supportive accommodation, along with empathetic and expert guidance. We strive to empower mothers by promoting positive parenting and fostering a nurturing environment.

Rough sleeping

Rough sleeping has increased in the UK and is now widespread and starkly noticeable throughout major cities. Beroa provides emergency accommodation and support to those who are sleeping rough. Our immediate aim is to house individuals as quickly and successfully as we can. Our long term approach is to work together with authorities and other agencies to end rough sleeping by providing sustainable housing solutions

Consulting (advisory & assurance)

We have a dedicated consulting team based in Solihull, ready to provide advisory and assurance work. We can lead large scale engagements for Registered Providers or support Managing Agents in areas such as risk management, process improvement and internal controls.

Training

Why not learn from us. We can provide tailored training solutions and specific methodology in areas such as property compliance, support work and general management and governance processes. We have created policies, processes and effective systems. We can support your organisation in developing good governance practices.

If you would like to move into one of our supported accommodation, please call us on 0121 439 9190 and speak to member of our team.

Most of the people who live in our supported accommodation are entitled to housing benefit that covers the rent. A calculation will be made on how much rent you will have to pay – our support team will help you with this. There is an additional small service charge that will not be covered by benefits.

The weekly service charge is your contribution to the utilities and towards the support you get. Paying service charges demonstrates you understand the importance of paying bills which will help you budget better when you move onto you permanent housing

Service charges are charged weekly. Most of our residents either pay weekly or set up a monthly standing order with their banks

We cover a wide area in the West Midlands. We also work with Staffordshire and Warwickshire Council for different housing needs. You can book a viewing by calling 0121 439 9190. To make a referral you can use the online form, call us or email us on info@beroa.co.uk.

We have a variety of rooms and one bedroom studio apartments. If you would like to arrange a viewing, you can call the office line on 0121 439 9190 and speak a member of staff who will be happy to assist.

No, you do not have to share your room with anyone.

This depends on the property. Some properties have ensuites and you will only have to share the communal areas with other residents. Some properties you will share the bathroom too.

You can report a repair either by calling the office line on 0121 439 9190 or by completing the online form.

You can complain by talking to your Support Worker or contact your Support Manager on 0121 439 9190. If you would like to make an anonymous complaint, please use the online form.
